Jan Kelly, principal of JKelly College Consultants has over 30 years direct experience in college admissions, financial aid, and counseling high students and their parents in the college process. Unlike many independent counselor she has been in the trenches and knows how the system works. 

With an undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and a Masters in Higher Education Administration and Counseling from Indiana University, Jan Kelly has the educational background necessary to be an effective counsleor.  In addition to her educational background she has also worked in the field of admissions since 1976.

Her work in admissions has included:

• Associate Director of Admissions Macalester College, St. Paul Minnesota
• Director of Admissions, Lesley College  Cambridge MA
• Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Curry College, Milton MA
• Director of College Counseling, Bancroft School, Worcester MA
